As a matrimonial and family law attorney, I recognize that I am guiding my clients during what is often the most difficult time of their lives. This is not a responsibility I take lightly, and I strive each day to be an advisor they can rely on and trust.

Sydney Lim concentrates her practice on matrimonial and family law matters, including: negotiating divorces, child custody, and access rights; domestic violence and orders of protection; pre-nuptial and post-nuptial agreements; separation agreements; cohabitation agreements; valuation and distribution of property; and spousal and child support. She is experienced in litigating matters in New York Family and Supreme Courts, as well as appeals in New York Appellate Divisions.

Prior to joining KSTM, Sydney worked at Blank Rome LLP in one of the nation’s largest matrimonial practices. As an associate there, Sydney worked closely with Caroline Krauss and Heidi Tallentire, including during Caroline’s tenure as co-chair of the firm’s matrimonial practice.

Sydney received her J.D. from Fordham University School of Law. During law school, she served as an associate editor of the Fordham International Law Journal. She also participated in New York State’s Pro Bono Scholar program and completed an externship at Mobilization for Justice during her final semester, where she helped represent indigent New Yorkers with disabilities. She received the Archibald R. Murray Public Service Award for performing over 1,000 hours of pro bono and community service work.
